Born in southern Ohio, and growing up with three athletic, competitive brothers; Billy was raised playing basketball, football, and swimming. Basketball remained a primary focus after high school. Billy took his talents to Delaware, Ohio; home of Ohio Wesleyan University. Where he played four years of NCAA basketball, and two years of club rugby.

Here is where an affinity for bodybuilding began to flourish. After competing in his first bodybuilding show in 2012, his desire to understand the techniques involved in developing the human physique continued to grow.

After moving to Los Angeles in 2014, “Nick the Gardener” was born! Billy played the role of “Nick” on the hit talk show Ellen (2014-2017). Which led to roles in movies and shows such as “Magic Mike XXL” (2015), “Bigger” (2018), and Euphoria Season 3.

It wasn’t until moving to the west side of Los Angeles that Billy really began to feel at home in California. Now training everyday at Gold’s Venice, “The MECCA of bodybuilding”, he is surrounded by the culmination of hundreds of years of Hollywood trainers and professional bodybuilders. This community and togetherness at the gym is a big driver for the fun behind competing as a bodybuilder.

Billy’s passion for bodybuilding and physical development continues to drive him to pursue his own competitive goals and deliver top quality service to his clients. His unique combination of education and in-the-trenches experience makes him one of the most sough-after trainers in Los Angeles.
